The WSET Level 3 course is an advanced qualification designed for dedicated wine enthusiasts looking to deepen their expertise. This intensive five-week course, led by Nelson Pari, delves into the complexities of wine tasting, production, and styles, offering a comprehensive education for those serious about wine.
Key Details
• Dates: Five consecutive Saturdays
• Course Duration: 45 hours (10:00 AM to 7:00 PM each day)
• Group Size: Small, intimate classes with a maximum of 14 students
• Lunch Break: Light lunch served at 1:00 PM in the St. James’s Room, including a glass of wine
• Qualification:
- Unit 1: Multiple-choice paper (50 questions) and short written answers (2 hours)
- Unit 2: Blind tasting of two wines (30 minutes)
• Passing Score: 55% required to pass, with a certificate and lapel pin awarded to successful participants
• Post-Exam Celebration: Celebrate the completion of the course with a glass of bubbles at the end of the fifth day, with further celebration encouraged in the Clubroom
• Location: St. James’s Room, 67 Pall Mall, London, SW1Y 5ES
Exam Information
At the end of the fifth day, members will take the final exam, which comprises two parts: a two-hours multiple-choice and written answer paper, followed by a 30-minutes blind tasting of two wines. A minimum score of 55% is required to pass. Those who succeed will be awarded the prestigious WSET Level 3 certificate and lapel pin.
Note:
Students who fail the examination can re-sit the test on either of our two available dates during the year: the first week of March or the first week of November. The cost to re-sit the examination is £200, including VAT. To book your re-sit, please email us at least four (4) weeks prior to either date at mail@winetraining.co.uk.

The course fee is £1300 per person, which includes lunch with a glass of wine and celebratory bubbles on the final day. All members must register and complete full payment at least 14 days prior to the course start date.

All bookings for our WSET courses and wine events are processed on the understanding that you have read and agreed to the following terms and conditions:
• Cancellations and Refunds
Wine Training School offers a refund policy only during the 14-day cooling-off period, in accordance with customer cancellation rights under the Consumer Contracts Regulations. This period begins on the day you book your course or event. After this time, no refunds will be provided under any circumstances.
• Course Availability and Changes
All WSET courses and wine events are subject to minimum participant numbers. Wine Training School reserves the right to change tutors, reschedule, cancel, close, or combine events or courses if necessary. Should any adjustments be made, we will notify all participants in a timely manner.
• Course Transfers
WSET courses and examination dates are fixed to the course you originally booked. Any request to transfer to an alternative date will incur an administration fee of £100.00, including VAT per student. All transfer requests must be submitted via email to mail@winetraining.co.uk at least 14 days before the original exam date. Transfers are subject to availability, and requests will be handled on a first-come, first-served basis. To avoid any issues, we recommend selecting future dates well in advance.
• Special Considerations
If you have any special requirements, such as dyslexia, that require special consideration for your examination, you must provide a medical certificate signed by a GP at least 25 working days before the examination. This must be communicated to us via email before making your booking, allowing us to inform WSET and arrange any necessary adjustments for your exam.
