John’s career in hospitality, spanning over 25 years, can be summarised by one word: Passion; passion for people, for building relationships, for perfection. John’s passion has led him to successes he once would never have imagined. He has managed hospitality in some of the finest two and three Michelin star restaurants in France, Switzerland and London, the most prestigious 5 star hotels in Zurich, London, and Lausanne and in the most exclusive private members clubs in London. Not surprisingly, John’s warm and genuine nature, his ability to connect with people from all levels of society and his profound understanding of hospitality has achieved vastly improved performance in each business.

Raul Diaz

Raul Diaz is the head trainer at WineTraining Ltd. He started his Sommelier career in 2004 working for a prestigious boutique hotel in Buenos Aires. Soon after, he traveled the world during five years onboard luxury cruise lines gaining a vast experience in hospitality. Since settling in the UK he has been Sommelier in Michelin starred restaurants working with Michel Roux Jr. and Gary Rhodes. In 2011, Raul joined Jascots Wine Merchants to develop their training department. During his time with Jascots, he established a variety of tailored in-house training programs and honed his skills of hosting memorable wine events and consulting businesses on how to successfully run their wine operations.
